i often take for granted the incredible freedom i have in Christ. a friend of mine recently commented to me, “i always said that ‘oh, i’m a christian,’ but now i say that i’m a child of God. because it’s true. and it really means something, you know?” sometimes people in your life speak words of truth, and they jar you a little because there’s such gravity and profoundness in what they say that you can’t quite take it all in; you kind of have to chew on it like a piece of meat.
